...

When adding an internal signer to a project, the 8-character UWaterloo username@uwaterloo.ca (i.e. myuserna@uwaterloo.ca) address must be used. You can search for someone’s username at https://idm.uwaterloo.ca/search/. in Campus Directory. To ensure you are using the correct email, use the information in the User ID username field.

...

The fix

  1. Sign into in to ConsignO at the following at https://uwaterloo.ConsignO.com/login using your 8-character UWaterloo username@uwaterloo.ca (i.e. myuserna@uwaterloo.ca)

  2. Open the signature project

  3. Click on Signers

  4. Find the signer who is seeing the error message and click the Edit button next to their name

  5. Update to use username@uwaterloouse username@uwaterloo.ca ca

  6. Once saved, this change will propagate to all other signature projects with this UWaterloo signer.
