If your URL does not transform into an inline link , when you first paste it into the Confluence page then you will not get the option to display it as an embed. In this case, simply click on the URL and change its display style to “Link” and the option to change it to “Embed” should pop up.
An If successful an embed of the document should pop up, and once you publish the page you should be good to go.
