Signers will ConsignO signers receive an email notification when they are required to sign a document. The This notification will also direct directs them to contact the project initiator with any questions.
The issue
If an internal (University of Waterloo) signer sees wrongSigner in URL and the message “You do not have the necessary permissions to access this signature project” after clicking on the link provided in the email notification, it is likely the project initiator did not use the correct email address for the signer. Internal, username@uwaterloo.ca addresses
When adding an internal signer to a project, the 8-character UWaterloo username@uwaterloo.ca (i.e. myuserna@uwaterloo.ca) address must be used. This can be verified You can search for someone’s username at https://idm.uwaterloo.ca/search/. To ensure you are using the correct email, use the information in the User ID field

The fix
To correct this, simply open Sign into ConsignO at the following at https://uwaterloo.ConsignO.com/login using your 8-character UWaterloo username@uwaterloo.ca (i.e. myuserna@uwaterloo.ca)
Open the signature project
Click on Signers
Find the signer who is seeing the error message and click the Edit button next to the their name
Update to use username@uwaterloo.ca
Once saved, this change will propagate to any all other signature projects with this UW UWaterloo signer is a part of
