Step-by-step guide
- You will receive an email from Jira for each project that requires an update indicating it has been changed to “Requires Status Update” as a status.
- You can either follow the link provided in the email you receive or navigate to: https://jira.uwaterloo.ca/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=347&projectKey=ISTPPM&selectedIssue=ISTPPM-5.
- To update status, either click on “In Progress” on the issue detail screen or click and drag the item for update from the “Requires Update” column to the “In Progress” column.
- The “Only My Issues” Quick Filter will hide all items except those assigned to the logged-in user.
- Regardless of which option is used, the status update dialog will present the following options:
- Update the Percent complete to reflect current progress
- Update the Health (Red, Yellow, Green)
- Add a comment detailing any key items for the status update (activities or deliverables completed, issues arising, changes to the schedule, etc.
