It’s possible to Sync a SharePoint folder (and subfolders) to your File explorer for easy access.

These instructions are for the new hosted SharePoint site.

  1. Open the SharePoint document folder you wish to sync

  2. Click on Sync at the top menu

  3. If prompted, choose Open Microsoft OneDrive

    1. NOTE: If you do not have OneDrive installed, click on Get the latest version of OneDrive

  4. Open your File Explorer

  5. Once it has successfully synced, you’ll find the folder under University of Waterloo in your File Explorer

You are now able to access the SharePoint Folder easily like the rest of your files
