As we look to build best practices for the University, here’s a list of things to consider:

• Organization structure under the Enterprise

  • Should most likely be flexible enough to match real org units at the University without going overboard

  • Further management inside each org can then be broken down into Teams

• Move Open Data

  • Should we have an Open Data org? Or maybe something else that represents public things?

• Policies for the Enterprise should be considered:

  • Repos

  • Actions

  • Projects

  • Teams

  • Orgs

• Default Organization permissions for the following should be considered:

  • Repos

  • Codespaces

  • Actions + self-hosted runners

  • Packages

  • Pages

  • Projects

• Settings for

  • Auth - require 2fa? - probably decided no since the auth is already wonky?

  • SecOps + security managers

• Purchase Action minutes per Team - cannot: billing happens at the enterprise level

• What does end of life for repos look like?
