M12 Power Connection

We use A-coded M12s with the following pinout:

Power sources use <TBD> contacts and devices that take power input use <TBD/opposite> contacts. All cables should then be male-to-female.

M12 Ethernet Connection

We use D-coded M12s with the following (common in industry) pinout:

The ports on our boxes should have female contacts, and the wires linking the boxes together should be be male-to-male.
