Overview

A fluid, by definition is a substance that continuously flows or whose molecular structure continuously deforms under an applied force. Most of the time, fluids come in the forms of liquids or gases, and the flow of them describes their movement from one point to another. Fluid flow sees great applications within Chemical Engineering because raw products need to travel to be transformed and finish products are transported to be consumed. Moreover, in Chemical Engineering, fluid flow deals with the transportation of fluids in a chemical process from beginning to end. Methods that induce fluid flow are listed below [1].
