Unable to save changes

On some migrated content, attempting to save changes to blocks might report "The content has either been modified by another user, or you have already submitted modifications. As a result, your changes cannot be saved."

recreate the block, copying and pasting content if needed, then delete the original block

Redirect “from path”

When creating or editing redirects, the “from path” does not include the base URL of the site in the displayed base URL, but adding the base URL of the site before the redirect itself creates a redirect that contains the base URL twice

Table cell vertical alignment of content

Content inside table cells is normally vertically aligned to the middle of the cell; however, if there is a webform present on the page, content is aligned to the top of the cell instead

Adding content to a block via source view

In blocks with a required field that uses the editor (e.g. copy text, blockquote), immediately switching to source view to add content may cause the validation on block save to incorrectly believe the field is blank

save the block again; to avoid the issue always start entering content in the WYSIWYG view

Layout builder error

Going to layout builder on some content may show "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."

append "/discard-changes" to the end of the URL and discard any unsaved layout builder changes; if this does not solve it, contact support

Media item dimensions

In copy blocks, when using the same media item for images more than once, with different dimensions, all instances of that media item will have the first item's dimensions

Open the image in any image editor that displays it correctly, then resave the image, and upload that resaved image to the WCMS in the place of the misbehaving one
