News item list

News item lists allow for the most recent News items to be featured on a content page.

Add a News item post list

1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, then select My Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Content list panel and select the content page you would like to edit.

3. On the content page, select the Layout tab.

4. Select + Add section if applicable, the select + Add block.

5. Navigate to Listings from the Choose a block list and select News item list.

   Open

   

                                                          

6. The pre-set title News item list will appear as a Block header unless Display title is unselected.

7. Under Items per block, select the desired number of displayed items from the drop-down menu. The default is 3 items per block.

8. Optionally, under News tag(s), enter the tags of the news items to be displayed.

   • Note: Tags function as "topics." If there are five items with the "coffee" tag and three items per Block are selected, the three most recent of the five "coffee" items will be selected and displayed.

9. Check the Override title box and enter a new title, if applicable.

10. Select Add block (Or Update if it’s a pre-existing Block).

    Select state from the Change to: drop-down menu.

    Select Save layout.
