how to use edgerouter

The current edge routers are not properly configured due to testing and such. reconfigure are required to use the edge routers. But during Christmas can not access the bay .

I will write proper documentation on how to properly use it soon and someone may be able to properly reconfigure it.

 

Setup: (only for windows computers)
step 1: Press the reset the button

step 2: power cycle the machine (if the lights start blinking from eth0 - 4 it means it is properly reset)

step 3: window wifi turn off (the school network will interfere with the process with ethernet)

step 4: open control panel → network connection → change adapter setting → ethernet(double click) → ipv4 property → manual ip address

196.168.1.10

255.255.255.255

196.168.1.1

→ save it

step 5: in web browser enter 196.168.1.1 and will be able to enter the edge router os
