About this service

The Project Management Office (PMO) provides a variety of project management training activities and resources:

  • Development and implementation of appropriate training plans to enhance project and program management knowledge

  • Project management webinars and presentations based on demands and needs

  • Development and delivery of Skills for the Electronic Workplace project management courses

  • Assistance with coordination of training for Project/Program Managers outside of PMO

  • Identification of internal and external recommended training providers and courses

  • Assistance towards professional certifications and maintenance of certifications

  • Coordination of knowledge sharing opportunities between projects, and project/program managers such as lessons learned, memberships, lunch 'n learns, et cetera

  • Launch and coordination of the Project and Portfolio Management Community of Practice for staff, faculty, and students
