Course Reserves - requesting in Learn

New for Fall 2026 Course Reserves are requested through Learn. When a Course Reserves request is submitted, the Get Course Reserves link in the Library Resources widget on the course homepage is automatically enabled. Instructors must use this link when creating Course Reserves to provide students with access to the reading lists.

If you have not requested your course, Course Reserves can be requested as part of a course creation request. Request the Creation of my LEARN Course

Requesting Course Reserves after your LEARN course has been created.

1. In your LEARN course offering, scroll to the Course Tools widget on the course homepage

2. Select Instructor Tools

   Open

   

    

3. On LearnTools My Courses page, select the course you want to request Course Reserves for on the left (if this is not already selected)

   1. In the right pane, click on Course Reserves

      Open

      

4. On the Course Reserves page, check the box Enable Course Reserves.

   Open

   

    

5. Click Submit
