Overview 

A platform that provides a shared workspace to chat, share/edit files, and host video/audio meetings.


The maximum number of users depends on the feature you're using. See Microsoft's guide on Teams limits for more information.







A live presentation and collaboration tool that shares audio, video, and presentations in a virtual class or meeting room. 

A maximum of 1000 users can attend a WebEx meeting.



A virtual meeting space allowing you to engage with students (individually or in groups). 

A maximum of 150 users can be invited to a virtual meeting and only 10 webcams can be active at a time.



An extension of the meetings function in Microsoft Teams that allows you to live stream content to large audiences. 

A maximum of 10000 users can attend a Teams Live Event.

*Live events will only be available by request for special events.  

A video sharing service for uploading, organizing, and sharing content across the organization.  

With Stream enabled, you can record any Teams meeting or call to capture audio, video and screen sharing activity and save it to Microsoft Stream.

A maximum of 300 users can be added to a Skype for Business online meeting. 



A cloud-based peer-to-peer software platform used for teleconferencing, telecommuting, distance education, and social interactions.

A maximum of 300 users can be added to a Zoom meeting. 

Recommended use 

By default, recorded Teams meetings can be edited and downloaded by all Team members. To restrict access, update the video permissions in Microsoft Stream and select the ‘Owner’ checkbox next to your Team name. Read our how-to article on how to restrict video permissions in Microsoft Stream.
