My Meetings

My Meetings provides access to meetings you have created or been invited to. You can filter your meeting dashboard by selecting DailyWeeklyMonthly, or All Meetings.

My Personal Room

Picture of your personal room

Your personal room is a meeting space that is always available. It does not need to be scheduled or set up in advance. The URL for your personal room can be found on the modern view homepage. It can be changed by going to the modern view homepage and selecting Preferences then My Personal Room. The default format is as follows:

uwaterloo.webex.com/join/Username

My Files

My files is where users can access recordings. They are organized by meeting type (Event, Meeting, or Training). This is also where you can decide which action to take for your recording.

Email: To email the recording select the email icon located under actions. A window will pop-up which allows you to choose users you would like to send the recording to. Included in the email is information about the recording such as: topictime and date the recording was made, and duration.

Download: Recordings of Meetings and Events are downloaded as MP4s. Recordings of Training Sessions are downloaded as Advanced Recording Files (ARFs). To learn how to convert a recording from ARF to MP4 visit Viewing a recording

Modify: This allows users to modify certain aspects of the recording information such as: TopicDescription, and Registration.

Send to Vendor: By selecting Send to Vendor it allows users to choose up to 3 vendors to send the recording to. It sends all the information about the recording as well as a link to view the recording.

Disable: Disable allows users to prevent individuals from viewing the recording without permanently deleting the recording. If you decide to re-enable the recording, select the 3 dots and then Enable from the drop-down menu.  

Delete: Selecting Delete with permanently delete the file.

My Contacts

My Contacts is where you can view and edit your address book. You can search for specific contact or narrow the search results.

My Profile

My profile is where users can view and edit account information such as their name, email, address and work hours.

Preferences

General

Set the time zone, language, and country.

"Meet Now" Settings

Users can set default options for instant meetings that you start with Meet Now. Users can set a meeting topic and password.

Audio

Set up ways for users to access your meetings by phone. 

Video Systems

Specify information for the video conferencing systems you want to use to connect to Webex meetings.

My Personal Room

Change room name and URL. Copy the URL to share with others, automatically lock the room after you enter, and or receive a notification when someone enters. Users can also select alternative hosts.

Scheduling Templates

Manage the meeting templates available to you.

Scheduling Options

Users can set options for deleting completed meetings, the default meeting type, the Quick Start page, and scheduling permissions.

Webex Support

Users can select the order of the support dashboard.

My Reports

There are many reports you can generate. Here are a few notable ones:

Registration Reports: Users can view a registration report to see who has registered for the event. Once the event is over, hosts can view if a registered attendee was absent.

Attendance Reports: View attendance for an event.

Attendee history: Users can view a list of events for an attendee.

Event Recording Report: Users can view a list of attendees who downloaded and or viewed a recording.

Training

The training tab provides users with resources to get up to speed with the Webex software. The page provides a link where users can view tutorials and reference guides.

Support

Options to download add-ins for specific services such as Webex Meetings/Events/Training. Mobile and desktop add-ins available.
