Self-registration for IT Professional Development (ITPD) courses offered via LEARN
Important Note for WCMS courses
Please review the Before you begin section on the course homepage in LEARN as we need to provide you with information, a training site and resources that you will need in order to begin the course.
To register and access ITPD online courses, sign into LEARN and follow the instructions below
Step-by-step guide
Log in to LEARN using your 8-character UWaterloo username @uwaterloo.ca (e.g. j25rober@uwaterloo.ca), password and authenticate with DUO (2 factor authentication)
Select the Self Registration tab from the main menu toolbar.
Under the column Course Offering Code, select the appropriate ITPD course:
WCMS for Content Maintainers
WCMS for Site Managers
WCMS Web Form Creation
A new window will appear with the course description, select Register. In this example, the WCMS for Content Maintainers course has been selected.
Review your credentials and select Confirm. You will be asked for your first name, last name, UWaterloo email and student ID number.
Select Submit.
Select Done to complete your registration.
Once you have completed the registration process, the ITPD course will appear in your course list on the LEARN homepage (under Courses and Communities and under the Select a Course icon on the top right corner). From there, you can navigate to the online course.
