Record a lecture (without streaming)

If you just want to record the lecture and not actually live stream, use your preferred video conferencing platform and the in-room video conferencing equipment to record your lecture. Ensure that the classroom video conferencing equipment is connected to the computer you are using (podium computer or your own laptop) and launch the video conferencing program

 Teams

  1. Go to the Calendar option

  2. Select “Meet now” (upper right).

  3. Give your meeting a name and click “Start meeting”.

  4. Dismiss/Close the “Invite people to join you” dialog,

  5. Set your camera and microphone preferences under Device Settings

  6. Start recording under the more options (…) and share your screen.

  7. When done, stop sharing and stop the recording under more options (…)

 Webex

  1. Click on “Start a Meeting”.

  2. Confirm that the camera and audio are set to the room equipment.

  3. Click Record and choose the Record in Cloud option (click the red record button).

  4. Then click the Share button on the toolbar and choose Screen1.

  5. When done click the Record button again and choose Stop

 Zoom

  1. Click on New Meeting

  2. Join with Computer Audio.

  3. Confirm the camera and audio are set for the room equipment.

  4. Click record and then Share Screen.

  5. When done click the Record button again and choose Stop
