Copy Articles From One Knowledge Base to Another
To be able to do this, you must have editing permissions in both knowledge bases. If you require assistance with this, or require higher permissions, please submit a ticket.
Go to the article that you would like to create a copy of.
On the left side bar, look for the article that you have selected. It should be under the appropriate dropdown (sometimes it is not) but it will always be highlighted as blue.
Click the three dots that appear when you hover over it.
Click Copy.
In “Select Space” click the dropdown and select which knowledgebase you’d like the copy to be in.
Under “parent” select the category that the article would be located / classified in.
Click the blue copy button.
It will take you to the new copy in the knowledgebase that you wanted it moved to.
Remove “Copy of” out of the title.
Click the blue publish button in the top right.
Scroll down to the bottom of the article. Remove the old labels.
Add in the label that will make it show up in the correct menu
(Ex. for it to show up in Finance in the CSRs, you will need to label it as “finance”).
