How to Run Dell Command Updates

When running these, please leave your laptop plugged in, on and open until you have finished the last step in this set of instructions.

  1. Click on the Windows icon (4 squares) in your taskbar.

  2. Search in “Dell Command Update” and open it up.

  3. Click Check.

  4. It will run through and detect any updates your laptop is missing. Once finished detecting them, it will load a list all of these updates.

  5. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and check off: Automatically Restart System (When Required)

  6. Click Install.

  7. A bunch of updates will begin to run. When finished, you will be prompted to restart your laptop. Please note that the updates will take a couple of minutes.

    1. Please ALWAYS restart your laptop after it notifies you that it is DONE installing.
