About this service

IST provides LDAP servers for the lookup of UWaterloo directory information of faculty, staff, and students. There are two LDAP servers available for use by the campus community:

uwldap.uwaterloo.ca provides basic directory information about UWaterloo community members, including names, email addresses, and phone numbers
nexus.uwaterloo.ca provides an LDAP interface to Active Directory information on community members and computers joined to the NEXUS domain
