About this service

IST provides support for faxing using traditional telephone-based fax machines, and using email gateways.

• Valid faxes sent via the Waterloo central fax service will come from Telephone Services Fax <tsfax@uwaterloo.ca>.

• The central fax service only works for faculty and staff and only with a University of Waterloo email account.

  • Be sure to check the sender before opening any fax.

  • If you are not expecting a fax, do not open the email attachment. Follow these steps to report the suspicious email.
