What is the R: drive?

The R: drive is a filespace that allows for on-campus departments to house folders with content shared amongst a custom user list. R: drive folders are generally only for staff use and are created for Science staff upon request to Science Computing.

How to map your R: drive folder

Nexus Workstations

On Nexus workstations, if you have access to an R: drive folder, the R: drive should be mapped for you automatically. You will have to find your folder on the list. 

If the R: drive does not map automatically, or if you would like a mapping that goes straight to a particular folder, you can map your R: drive folder by hand using the instructions below.

To map your R: drive folder from off-campus or wireless on-campus, you will need to install and connect to the Campus VPN.
