Refunds for Financial Aid

When are scholarships, bursary and awards applied to student accounts?
For undergraduate students, scholarship, bursary and award are applied to your student account balance during the second month of term, provided your registered status is "Fees Arranged".

For graduate students, scholarship, bursary, award and GRS amounts will be applied to your student account balance during the first week of classes, provided your registered status is "Fees Arranged".

If I am receiving a scholarship, bursary or award, how do I receive a refund?

If you've already paid the total charges on your student account for the term, any financial aid applied to your student account will create a credit balance. Credit balances created by the posting of scholarships, bursaries and awards will generate a refund during the week following the posting date, provided that you have added your Canadian bank account information on Quest. Otherwise, your refund will be held on your student account to be applied to future charges.

I don’t have a Canadian bank account. How do I receive a refund?

Please see our page for information on refunds for students who do not have a Canadian bank account.
