Ebox | Power the Ebox Fans using STM32 and PWM |
Task Description
Need for project: Electronics get hot, especially when running large buck converters, onboard computers like the Jetson, and other devices. They are also highly packed in the Ebox space. To make sure that the electronics on board the rover don't overheat, we use fans mounted to the Ebox (the thing mounted on the rover with all the electrical equipment).
Goal: Use PWM off of an STM32 to power the Ebox fans at various speeds
Requirements:
- Must be able to run the fans at various speeds
- Must be able to use a timer to cycle the fans on and off at given intervals

UPDATE
Bullet points for updates
Communication
Communication must be proactive. The subteam lead will check in with you at least once a week to get a progress report update, but it is very important that when a roadblock occurs, you reach out for help and update Monday with a blocked or stuck status.
Blocked: for tasks that have dependencies on other projects that have not been completed yet
Stuck: you are unable to get something working.
Documentation
Upon making progression updates, please update the documentation page for this project with any critical information and resources.
