In a web browser, point to https://www.wvd.uwaterloo.ca/
A prompt will appear asking you to sign in. Sign in using your WatIAM credentials.
It does not require using the campus VPN (it’s in the MS cloud). It looks like this:
Single click ArtsPool1 or ArtsPool2 and eventually you’ll be presented with a prompt for credentials that looks like this:
Eventually, you’ll be logged in a ‘tab’ that has a full Windows 10 desktop.
Users need to sign out of the "Arts Desktop" when they are done using it.
Once connected to the Remote Desktop a prompt will appear

2. Then you will be asked to enter your UWaterloo email and password and a 2FA prompt will appear

3. You will be redirected to a series of prompts showing you how to use OneDrive
4. Click Next until you have reached the last prompt. Click "Open my OneDrive folder" and you will be redirected to your OneDrive
Now your OneDrive is connected.
First you will need to connect to your OneDrive through portal.office.com
Open SPSS and open a file
On the Open Data window, click the Look in: drop-down menu. In the drop-down menu, find and select One Drive – University of Waterloo
