Science Undergraduate Labs
Science has three undergraduate NEXUS labs, containing 184 PCs, located throughout the Faculty of Science. The following table shows the locations of the Science Nexus labs & printers. Science Computing NEXUS accounts
Science Computing provides each student with a Nexus account, which consists of the following:
A Roaming Profile
Saves all of your settings so that each Nexus workstation presents a customized environment which contains settings unique to your account
Provides 1GB of disk space to automatically save the following settings
Desktop Settings
Shortcuts
Internet Favourites
Internet and Document Histories
Personal Filespace
Automatically mapped as the N: drive when you log onto a Nexus workstation
Backed up daily, making it a very safe place to store data.
Provides 10GB of file storage space.
