How we do it
To control the car we use a network of boards spread around the car that each perform a specific function. Boards communicate to each other by using a /wiki/spaces/FEEL/pages/6524672668. Splitting up vehicle functions into multiple boards allows us to position boards closer to sensors (reduces noise), debug easier and swap out malfunctioning components (instead of replacing the entire unit)
For an overview on how the electrical system works, see the /wiki/spaces/FEEL/pages/6546424806 page.
Hardware
We have 9 printed circuit boards (PCBs) that are designed in-house. This involves research, schematic design, PCB layout and assembly.

FAQs
- I'm looking for work to do with the team
- Contact the subteam lead
- I'm not familiar with circuit concepts and would like to do some self reading
- What is the difference between Confluence and JIRA for project tracking?
- JIRA is what we use for constant project updates. If there is progress that you made on a board like soldering an MCU, you can post that progress on JIRA. The Confluence pages for 2021 is being used as an end-of-term or end-of-project report. It summarizes our design decisions related to that project and how we ended up with the final result
- How do I get download project files?
- Contact the subteam lead for access to GitHub and see the first section of /wiki/spaces/FEEL/pages/6524672616 in order to git pull the repo
