Note

Once you have created a link from LEARN to a Vevox session, that session will only be accessible through the created link. Participants may still see the QR code and the session ID for joining, but users who try to use these methods to join will be instructed to join the session through their virtual learning environment.

Creating a link in LEARN to a Vevox Session

...

  • The grades sent back to LEARN are based on the polling questions that have been previously opened to participants. If you have built additional polling questions and have not yet opened them, these will not be counted in the grades.

  • Each polling question asked is weighted equally.

  • Only polling questions that have a correct answer identified will count towards the Correct Answers grade.

  • Grades push back to LEARN after every polling question is closed. Therefore, it is recommended that you hide the LEARN grade item to prevent your students from receiving a grade notification from LEARN after every question.

Notes regarding Duplicating or Reusing a Vevox Session previously connected to LEARN

  • If you copy a Vevox link from one LEARN class to another, the link will not work in the new LEARN course. Delete the Vevox link and create a new link from scratch using the instructions on this page.

  • If you wish to make a duplicate version of a Vevox session to link to, you will need to do this using the online Vevox Dashboard ahead of time before creating the link in LEARN. See Duplicating or Reusing a Vevox Session.

  • If you choose to re-link to an existing Vevox Session that was previously linked to another course, upon creating the new link, the previous link will stop working and all previous participant responses will be deleted. It is recommended that you duplicate the Vevox session instead and link to the new session.
