The Announcements widget can be found on the homepage of each course in Waterloo LEARN.

Select your course from Courses and Communities.
Announcements will be displayed on the right side of the course homepage.

Once you have dismissed an announcement, you can restore it so that it will be displayed in your Announcements feed on the course homepage.

Click the down arrow beside the Announcements widget title.
Select Got to Announcements Tool from the drop-down list.
For each dismissed announcement that you would like to restore, click the down arrow beside the title and select Restore. Any announcement that you have dismissed will say (dismissed) beside the title.
