How to create different types of Twitter widgets

For instructions on adding a Twitter widget to your site see: How to add a Twitter widget.

Widget types

Twitter supports seven different types of widgets, each filtering information using different metrics.

Note: Twitter has discontinued the Search feature that was previously available in the WCMS.

...

Profile

A Profile widget is the default widget type used on WCMS sites. This widget pulls all tweets from a specific chosen account.

...

Likes (formerly known as Favourites)

The Likes widget type displays Tweets that were "liked" by a specific Twitter account. Similar to the Profile widget, website maintainers simply need to provide the Twitter username when embedding.
