Science has three two undergraduate NEXUS labs, containing 184 54 PCs, located throughout the Faculty of Science. The following table shows the locations of the Science Nexus labs & printers. Science Computing NEXUS accounts

Science Computing provides each student with a Nexus account. The Nexus account includes a roaming profile, which consists of the following:

  • A Roaming Profile

    Saves all of your settings so that each Nexus workstation presents a customized environment which contains settings unique to your account

  • Provides 1GB of disk space to automatically save the following settings

    • Desktop Settings

    • Shortcuts

    • Internet Favourites

    • Automatically mapped as the N: drive when you log onto a Nexus workstation

    • Backed up daily, making it a very safe place to store data.

    • Internet and Document Histories

    Personal Filespace

    • Provides 10GB of file storage space.
