Teams Involved: Science and Mechanical
- Get camera and microscope specifications for the new science mechanism
- Focal length
- Minimum zoom, maximum zoom
- Resolution, aspect ratio
- Field of view
- Unfamiliar with microscopes, but what are you looking for in a microscope?
- Mechanical Team: Someone in person will need to check things out and give an update on things
- Get in contact with Asha (he designed it)
- Grab some electrical and software people to verify sensors
- At least one from each.
- Narrow down on 4-5 sensors we want to use on the rover (send to electrical)
- Carbon dioxide, pH, temperature, humidity etc.
- Software used to analyze amino acid residues (SymBio)
- Talk to the software team if this is something we can incorporate
- Camera feeds pointing at the test tubes and that is sent to the test station, someone observes colour
- The software team could create a database to give us outputs on colour (rather than having someone observe)
- Protein assay kit (see if it is more efficient than ninhydrin)
- Rock guide/database
- Create Excel
- Talk with software about cameras and microscope (specs we need for rock testing)
- Refresh rate, resolution, min/max magnification, focal length distance
