How to create a Web page
Web pages have main and sidebar content areas or they can be set as a wide (full width) web page.

Create a Web page
Create a Web page.
Select My Workbench under the black Administration bar.
Select the Create/Manage Content tab.
Click Web page.
Click +Add Web page.
Enter the Title of web page.
Add content under Body.
Add sidebar complementary content (optional).
Add content on the sidebar by using the WYSIWYG editor.
Note: the sidebar can also be used to place "Promotional items" content type (Site Managers only).
Note: the sidebar content is narrow and
therefore certain content cannot be accommodated within the sidebar.
This includes YouTube videos.
Adding sidebar related links (optional)
Add Link text and URL in their respective fields.
Click Add another item to add additional related links.
Adding images and files.
Click Upload an image to browse for and upload for images. Note: The cursor must be placed where you wish to insert the image.
Click Upload a file to browse for and upload a file.
Note: the cursor must be placed where you wish to insert a link to the file.
Note: all URLs default to lowercase formatting regardless of file name formatting.
The file type must also be included in the file link text.
Select the audience (optional)
Audience terms adds keywords to your page, which increases search engine optimization.
Select Audience terms if the page you are creating is for a particular audience. Note: Do not tag everyone, only specific audiences.
Set the Parent item (site hierarchy)
Select a page under parent item to place your web page in the site hierarchy.
Click Add menu link if you wish to have the web page appear on the main menu on the left-hand side of your website.
URL path settings.
The Web page automatically generates a URL based on the page Heading and its place in the site hierarchy.
Unselect Generate automatic URL alias if you wish to enter a custom URL alias. NOTE: Do not add a trailing backslash (/) to the alias or the URL will not work.
Save.
Publish.

Other site templates
Conference
Web pages on Conference sites have a main body content area only (the Sidebar complementary content area and Related links option are not available).
Listing page image for social media is replaced with a Banner image that will be displayed behind the title of the Web page.
Listing pages can be configured for Web pages by selecting a Conference feature.
The selection of available embedded widgets is also limited.
Audience terms are not available.
Adding Web pages as child items is not supported
Publication
The Web page content type is available for this template and follows the same steps as outlined above.
Single page
Web pages on Single page sites have a main body content area only. The Sidebar complementary content area and Related links option are not available.
The selection of available embedded widgets is also limited.
Single pages do not have a menu navigation and therefore will require a link to Web page content.
