There will be two separate board designs.
48V board:
Main purpose of the board:
A DD current sense board can measure the voltage and current from the battery to the rest of the rover system.
The board needs to support the voltage range of the 12s1p 36 - 50.4v batteries.
The board is isolated. It needs to have an XT90 input connected to the battery and an XT90 output connected to the rest of the rover.
The board needs a microcontroller to calculate the load and voltage sense.
The boards can display the result through an LCD.
The board needs to have an ON/OFF relay for the operator.
Criteria & constraints of the boards:
12s1p accepted input range
safety relay switch
output display
High power application(up to 1000w)
low voltage drop
The second board
Main purpose of the board:
A DD current sense board can measure the voltage supplied to each component.
send the voltage output to firmware jetson through CAN bus (by data use case)
accept input voltage range from 50.2v to 5v
inline separate board (maybe hall? research)
Criteria & constraints of the boards:
accept range from 50.2v to 5v
reverse polarity protection
Switch to turn on/off the board
CAN support
harness to connect to different board
small & compact board
PIC micro controller
