About 12 weeks prior to the start of the term, an automated email is sent out from the TAO system to all LIs who are listed.
TAO - Instructor ranking
About 10 weeks prior to the start of the term, an automated email is sent out from the TAO system to all LIs who are listed to select TAs on courses.
Look up the allocation in the TAO system.
A TA allocation of 1.0 corresponds to a total of 130 hours worked in a term.
TA responsibilities are typically divided between:
tutorials
labs
exam proctoring
exam grading
TA responsibilities may include other areas, based upon instructor discretion.
