There will be two separate board designs.

48V board:

Main purpose of the board:

  • A DD current sense board can measure the voltage and current from the battery to the rest of the rover system.

  • The board needs to support the voltage range of the 12s1p 36 - 50.4v batteries.

  • The board is isolated. It needs to have an XT90 input connected to the battery and an XT90 output connected to the rest of the rover.

  • The board needs a microcontroller to calculate the load and voltage sense.

  • The boards can display the result through an LCD.

  • The board needs to have an ON/OFF relay for the operator.

Criteria & constraints of the boards:

  • 12s1p accepted input range

  • safety relay switch

  • output display

  • High power application(up to 1000w)

  • low voltage drop

The second board

Main purpose of the board:

  • A DD current sense board can measure the voltage supplied to each component.

  • send the voltage output to firmware jetson through CAN

  • accept input voltage range from 24v to 3.3v

Criteria & constraints of the boards:

  • accept range from 24V to 3.3V

  • reverse polarity protection

  • Switch to turn on/off the board

  • CAN support

  • harness to connect to different board

  • small & compact board
