To stop streaming to any display, tap the green checkmark underneath the display and tap the send button again to update your change.

The projected video can be hidden by tapping the IMAGE tab at the top right of the Crestron panel screen andthen the MUTE BOTH tab circled in the image below. This can be useful if you are making changes on your PC or laptop that you would like to hide from the audience.

Laptop

  1. Connect the HDMI cable to your laptop. The HDMI cable transmits video and audio.

  2. Connect the USB cable to your laptop.

  3. Connecting the USB cable also allows you to use the classroom cameras and microphone instead of your laptop camera and microphone. Press the button above the LT label on the switch to activate this feature. You should see a camera icon appear on the camera app as shown in the red circle in the image below.

Clicking the camera icon will switch between using your laptop camera and the classroom cameras.

There is no physical switch in PHR 1004. Instead, use the Crestron interface to switch between the laptop and PC.

You can switch back to using your laptop camera by clicking the button above PC on the switch. To learn more about using the classroom cameras, read the Camera section.

  1. Select the Laptop tab on the bottom panel of the Crestron projector's screen

  2. Tap the red X under each display option and Classroom Sound.

  3. Tap the send button. Your laptop's screen should be visible on each projector and the preview monitor.

  4. Your DocCam notes should appear on the the selected screens.

  • On the control panel, swipe to Stage Camera on the sidebar at the bottom of the screen and select it.

  • Users have the option to select one of four camera angles available.

    • Privacy: Prevents the camera from recording.

    • Podium: Captures the podium speaker area.

    • Wide Front Shot: Captures the entire front view.

    • White Board: Focuses on the whiteboard.

  • The camera can be manually adjusted by using the control panel.

    • Can zoom Zoom in and out using the “+” and “-” symbols.

    • There’s a Use the directional arrows on the control pad that allows users to move the camera in all directions.
