Introduction to MATLAB OpenCV
This software program offers many functions that can be used for object detection and identification. For the golf project, the ease of MATLAB and the many offered functions was why it was chosen to create the final tracking program.
You will need to go to the add ons tab and install or download some libraries. Some recommended ones to access OpenCV and other computer vision tools include:
- OpenCV
- Computer Vision
If there is a function you are thinking of, MATLAB will likely have libraries that you can access or add ons that can assist. An example might be finding the centre of mass. For more information on how to use specific functions, go to https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab
