Skype for Business is a great tool for communication, but sometimes it experiences issues. This article will walk you through a few settings to check to get Skype for Business up and running again as quickly as possible.

Instructions

  1. Click the gear icon and select Audio device from the left-side menu. Select your preferred device from the drop down menus.

  2. Press the Green play buttons to check if you are receiving audio and watch to see if the bar next to the microphone moves as you talk.

  3. If your device is not listed or you do not hear or see anything, search for and open Control Panel and select the Sound menu.

  4. Select your desired device and click Properties. Ensure the “Device usage” dropdown is set to enabled and the sliders on the Levels tab are high enough.

  5. Contact CEED IT Support if you are still experiencing problems.
